Hyaluronic acid is not a single molecule — it exists across a spectrum of molecular weights, each with distinct skin behavior and depth of action. The Torriden Dive-In Low Molecular Hyaluronic Acid Soothing Cream is built on this scientific principle, utilizing a 5-type hyaluronic acid complex spanning from ultra-low (5Da) to high molecular weight to deliver hydration at every layer of the skin — from the deepest reachable epidermal layers to the outermost stratum corneum.

Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (below 50kDa) has been shown in clinical studies to penetrate the epidermis more effectively than standard high-molecular HA, reaching the living cell layers where it can exert genuine plumping and water-retention effects. High-molecular HA, meanwhile, forms a protective film on the skin's surface to prevent transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and lock in the hydration delivered by its smaller counterparts.
